What type of breeds do you breed? We breed Goldendoodles and Standard Poodles.
What is a Goldendoodle? A Goldendoodle is a cross breed between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle.
How do you raise your puppies? All puppies will be raised indoors in a very clean and loving environment. Each puppy will have one-on-one time from day one. They will be raised on advanced curriculum as we use a mix of Puppy Culture and Badass Breeder methods. They will undergo Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction from day three to sixteen. Once they are three weeks old we will begin daily handling exercises and daily exposure/desensitization to new things up until they go home. At three weeks old we also begin to introduce separating sleeping/playing and potty areas. We also do weekly baths and grooming. At seven weeks old temperament test and portfolios will be completed. At 8 weeks old we will do puppy selections and go home all the same day.
What is Puppy Culture? Puppy Culture is an amazing program we use to help raise our puppies. Click the button below for an overview of the program.
Can we visit you and puppies before placing a Reservation ? No. First of all we work very hard to provide our families with a healthy puppy. Newborn puppies are very susceptible to diseases and have no immune systems to be able to fight them off. Every visitor has the potential to bring a virus or bacteria that could be very dangerous and threatening to the puppies. It is not fair for the families who have placed reservations to put their puppies at risk. We are happy to facetime or skype you as well as send references and plenty of videos and photos of the puppies, parents, and where they are raised. We also place photos and videos daily on our social media sites. Secondly, there is no way for us to tell if you are serious about placing a reservation on one of our puppies or just feel like it would be a fun time to bring the whole family to play with some puppies. Our puppies and parents are raised in our home which should be and is a safe place for them. We have had incidents in the past where visitors have not been as respectful to our time and home, and children and adults who have not been as gentle or careful when handling puppies. We would be more than happy for you to meet parents of future litters if there is no current or soon to be litters at our house, if females are not in heat and if time permits. Families will be given a scheduled time when they can visit and must be respectful of that time. Children are allowed to visit if they are able to be respectful and be gentle with the puppies and our adult dogs. We are also very active in local doodle groups and always invite families interested in the breed to come meet our dogs and other doodles when there is events to get an idea of personality, temperament, and different coat types.
How much are your puppies? All our puppies cost $3000. $500 (non refundable) reservation fee reserves your spot on the Master List and remainder of cost is due once puppies are 8 weeks old. There will be an additional cost for any delivery and shipping fees.
*Repeat Puppy Families recieve a discount* *This is an estimate. Prices can vary depending on litter and if breeding rights is included*
Is the reservation fee refundable? No. The $500 reservation fee is not refundable. If for some reason you choose to no longer get a puppy from us the $500 will not be refunded. The only time we refund the $500 is if we have multiple litters back to back that does not take and the wait time is significantly longer than originally expected. If you are one of the top names on the Master List and not ready for a puppy when one becomes available you are more than welcome to pass and wait for the next litter without loosing your spot.
*Rolling Oak Doodles reserves the right to hold back any puppy from a litter. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell to an individual especially if we think the puppy's health and well being might be at risk.*
Will we receive updates once on the Master List?
Yes. We will send updates once we have a female who has gone into heat and has been bred. We then will send an update once the vet has confirmed pregnancy and again once puppies are born. Once we have a litter born and you are officially placed on a reservation list for a specific litter we will send weekly puppy updates leading up to the puppies going home. When we are waiting for females to come into heat we post regularly on our social media pages with updates on what we are doing with our dogs for you to follow along.
What sizes do you breed?
Standards are 50lbs+
Mediums are 35lbs to 50lbs
Minis are 25lbs to 35lbs
Can you guarantee due dates, litters, the number of puppies, gender, colors, size, and coat types that will be available in each litter? No, every female is different. Some females are always on time with their heat cycles and others might vary by a couple weeks or even months. We try to give our best estimate on when females should come into to heat to be bred but sometimes it can be early and other times it can be late. We can never guarantee that an actual pregnancy will take. We do everything in our power to produce a healthy litter. We work closely with a well known reproductive specialist vet. All our girls have progesterone testing completed during heat cycle to make sure they are breed at the prime time. Along with that every male will have a semen analysis completed to make sure everything is good before the breeding takes place. At that point it is up to mother nature if it takes or not. We also can not guarantee the number of puppies, gender, colors, or coat types that will be available in each litter. Mother nature has the final say. All our puppy parents have had coat trait and color testing so we are able to know which colors and coat traits they are able to produce when paired together. We just do not know how many of each they will produce and which ones will be available by your pick. We also are unable to guarantee adult sizes. We do our best to give estimates based on parents size and past puppy sizes but sometimes a puppy might take after a grandparent and end up smaller or even larger than expected.
*Rolling Oak Doodles reserves the right to change the planned pairings. Sometimes complications or mother nature come up and we might have to switch up the planned female or male for a litter. We will do everything to make sure the size and color will be as similar as possible.*
How does puppy selections work? Puppy selections takes place at 8 weeks old and on the same day as go home. The reason we wait until they are 8 weeks old is every puppy will have a complete portfolio on their health, temperament/personality, etc. They each will have completed extensive temperament testing, they will have a complete physical exam by a licensed vet, and we will also have a good idea on what their adult coat should be like (curly vs wavy). Selections will take place in the order of reservations placed and once you have made your selection you are able to take your puppy home.

Return Policy: Under no circumstances should your Rolling Oak Doodle puppy be surrendered to a rescue, animal shelter, rehomed etc. before consulting us. We understand things happen and you might no longer be capable of caring for your puppy. Please contact us before you rehome or surrender your Rolling Oak Doodle puppy. We are also willing to take our puppies back or work with you to find the best possible placement.
Why do you require a spay/neuter contract ? All of our puppies are sold on a strict spay/neuter contract. They must be spayed/neutered by one years of age. We prefer you wait closer to one years old before spaying/neutering to give the puppy time to grow. If the vet wants to wait for the safety of the puppy's health or the puppy needs more time to grow please let us know. The reason why we require puppies to be spayed/neutered is not every puppy will be breeding quality and not every person is capable of raising a litter. It is also better for the puppy's health to be spayed/neutered and the owners sanity not worrying about heat cycles or unwanted pregnancies. We will allow few puppies to be sold with breeding rights if they have breeding potential to selected breeders at an additional cost. The puppy must however pass all health testing before being bred.
How does the Master List work? How it works is once you place a reservation fee we will give you a spot on the Master List. Our Master List is split into two groups - one for goldendoodles and one for standard poodles. If you are open to both breeds your name can go into both groups with a * by your name. Once we have a litter born we will go down the Master List in order of reservations placed. You will have the option to be added to that litters specific reservation list or pass and wait until the next litter is born. The Master List might seem intimidating and long but it is important to remember that some families are open to any breed/gender/size/color while others have very specific preferences, and some might pass because of timing or waiting for the "perfect" puppy. Rolling Oak Doodles always reserves the right to hold back any puppy(s) for our program or any other reason from each litter.
How often do Goldendoodles or Poodles need to be groomed? Goldendoodles and Poodles have very high maintenance coats. Wavy coated goldendoodles should be brushed out fully 2-3 times a week and curly coated goldendoodles or poodles should be brushed out every other day. They should also have a set schedule with a groomer every 4-6 weeks.
Do you ship your puppies? We do not ship our puppies. We work very hard their first 8 weeks of their lives to build their trust and confidence. We are willing to meet anywhere in FL or surrounding states to personally deliver a puppy for an additional charge. We also have a flight nanny who can personally fly with the puppy in the cabin to your local airport for an additional charge. Another option is we are willing to meet you at Tampa International Airport or Orlando Airport with the puppy so you can personally fly home in the cabin with the puppy.
Since you raise your puppies on puppy culture and Badass Breeder Curriculum will they come to us fully trained? No, these are still very young puppies. Yes, we do spend A LOT of time setting the foundation for socializing, crate and potty training but it is only the first step. They will be in a new environment with new people away from their first family. It might take a few days to settle and get into a routine. They are still puppies and will have accidents if not taken out on a scheduled time. They are still going to be going through teething phases and wanting to nibble/mouth on hands, clothes, furniture, etc. if not redirected. They might push the boundaries and get into mischief. They are going to need mental stimulation, age appropriate physical exercise, attention, and love that every growing puppy and dog in general needs. We definitely recommend looking into puppy schools near you to enroll in classes to continue their positive reinforcement training and building a strong connection between you and your puppy. If you are local we are more than happy to help set you up with a great trainer.
